How to Boil Potatoes
- Normal Boiled – Place the potatoes in a pan, and pour water just enough to cover the potatoes. Do not add salt while boiling. Boil the potatoes until they are tender. this should take 30-45 minutes. The cooking time depends on the size of the potatoes. You can check if they are done by inserting a knife through the potatoes if the knife goes through smoothly, the potatoes are done.
- Pressure Cooker – When cooking potatoes with a pressure cooker, remove from the heat when you hear two whistles in the cooker.
- 2 cups Boiled mashed potatoes
- 1 egg
- 5 tbsp Flour
- 3 tbsp Fresh Milk
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Salt to taste
- Butter for frying
- Add everything except the butter needed for frying and mix well.
- The mixture should be in the form of a flattening that can be taken by hand and flattened. If there is too much liquid, add flour.
- Heat the butter in a nonstick pan, flatten small portions of the mixture by hand, and fry on both sides until golden brown.
