What is Soft Butter Cake?

Soft Butter Cake is one of my favorite cakes. It is a sweet dish that is perfect for tea time. Butter Cake can be made very easily and with less amount of ingredients. It takes about an hour to make. This cake is popular among people because it is quick, easy, and delicious to make. It is the least sweet of the cakes, so it can be enjoyed by adults and children alike.

Soft Butter Cake can be used for the inside of cakes designed for special occasions such as birthday cakes. When icing is added to the Soft Butter Cake, the taste of the cake doubles and triples. This Soft Butter Cake can also be added to the core of the Red Velvet Cake we mentioned earlier.

What are the ingredients needed to make Soft Butter Cake?

Although a lot of ingredients are needed to make other cakes, this Soft Butter Cake can be made with 7 ingredients. Below you can see those 7 ingredients.

  • 250 g Sugar Grind or use Caster Sugar
  • 250 g Flour
  • 250 g Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tbsp Milk

Let’s learn how to make Soft Butter Cake step by step.

  • Preheat the oven to 180 C. Take a baking tray and spread the melted butter on it. Take a baking tray and put oil paper. Spread melted butter over it.
  • Mix flour and baking powder and sift well.250 g Flour,2 tsp Baking Powder
  • Add butter and sugar to the large mixing bowl and combine roughly with a spatula. Now beat with a hand mixer at low speed for about a minute. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl from time to time. Now increase the speed to high and beat for 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves. the mixture should look fluffy now.250 g Sugar,250 g Butter
  • Now add one egg at a time and beat minute by minute for about 4 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl from time to time. After about 4 minutes, the eggs should be well combined into the batter. Add vanilla essence and beat for another minute.4 Eggs,2 tsp Vanilla
  • Add the previously prepared flour mixture to the batter little by little and mix gently with the spatula. Finally, add milk and mix well.2 tbsp Milk
  • Add the batter to the prepared baking tray. Bake in the middle of the oven at 325 to 450 degrees F for 40 minutes.
  • Now remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
